I understand that philosophy is often misunderstood and sometimes overlooked in the modern world. However, it remains a vital and relevant exercise in critical thinking. It offers valuable insights and perspectives that may not be immediately apparent in other disciplines, igniting curiosity and engaging our intellect. Its significance in critical thinking is undeniable, providing reassurance and conviction in its relevance.

Some people view philosophy as disconnected from reality and consider contemplating profound questions a waste of time. Yet, it’s important to emphasize the value of philosophical inquiry, as it offers a distinctive and significant perspective. In fact, philosophical concepts such as ethics and political philosophy are deeply intertwined with our everyday lives, influencing our decisions and actions.

In today’s world, science is often our go-to for answers and solutions. Given this reliance on science, it’s natural to question the role and importance of philosophy.

While philosophy may not offer definitive answers, it does provide a stimulating framework for exploring important questions, igniting our intellectual curiosity.
